Position Summary/Description:
Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, other area hospitals (where appropriate), EMS and other potential referral sources within the hospitals' primary, secondary and tertiary service areas. This position primarily focuses on developing facility referral relationships with the providers in the service area with the goal of maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsible for creating and maintaining a target list of referral sources, creating and implementing an annual growth and outreach business plan and providing input in the development and implementation of marketing plans for all service lines. You will report on the activity level and outcome of activities on a regular basis, focusing on increases in volume and/or addressing issues. The expectation is that this position will physically spend a majority of their work week in facilities and provider offices within their referral area.
Focus will be to continuously strive to make improvements that result in better patient experiences in our facilities for both patients and providers.

Job Requirements

Position Qualifications:
1. Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Marketing, Sciences or related field
3. 3 + years of Pharmaceutical/Medical/Healthcare Sales experience required
4. Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
5. Good organizational and planning skills
6. Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Computer proficient
9. Complies with legal, hospital and departmental policies, procedures and position requirements

Director of Growth and Outreach Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join a national team of healthcare representatives whose main objective is outreach to healthcare providers as their associate and advocate in one of our many regional healthcare systems. The representative will be responsible for calling on physicians and other healthcare providers in the primary, secondary and in some cases tertiary market surrounding our healthcare facility in order to provide education on both new and existing service lines while also identifying issues that create barriers to referrals from these providers. Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive sales growth. Competitive compensation and benefit package.
Salary is commensurate with experience and competitive in the industry; incentive potential.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Participation in weekly growth and outreach calls
• Utilization of Track Via to document and optimize outreach to referral sources
• Execution of growth and outreach plan as outlined in Playbook
• Special projects as assigned by CEO
